A Baby, A Man And Some Times And Other Random Thoughts is a sequel to "The One That Got Away And Other Random Thoughts"It is a collection of thirty three Traditional English Poetic Works written by Biju Vasudevan. He had given up poetry when his father died and then switched to music and writing. His musical trips forced him to dig out the Poet in him. He retrieved his poetry which was previously ignored by the whole world and made an attempt to showcase it before the cynical world. All moods and seasons are reflected in these works. Some are tragic while some are funny. Some are depressing while some are uplifting. This collection will take you through a roller-coaster of myriad emotions and moods.
In this collection of poems, the author uses his skills as both poet and pediatrician to chronicle the experience of being first time parents to a baby girl. There are multiple explorations on the themes of love, humility and the humor that goes along with the parent-child relationship. In addition, he also manages to capture the way in which the passage of time leads to growth and development in the dynamic period of the first two years of life by marking each well child pediatrician visit with a poem describing what his daughter is doing at that moment. Parents and grandparents will identify with the struggles and joys, while expectant parents will get a glimpse of what is to come, all tempered with a healthy dose of finding poetic beauty in everyday life.

Who is that in the mirror? It's you, silly! Babies just love looking at their reflections, and in "I See Baby", your child will become a part of the story. Who's that splashing in the tub? it's baby! Can you wash your hair just like baby? Who is that hiding in the yard? it's baby! Can you play peek-a-boo with baby?
You and yours can be successful!
The idea for writing this book came to me as I was flying across the United States as part of building our business and providing for my family. The thought that occurred to me was, if this plane were to go down, how would my son learn what he needs to know to be successful?
I chose to write this book as a series of short stories that each carry a lesson or that should make you think. Together, the lessons helped me to be successful in all aspects of life, at least by the standards which most people measure success. I think these lessons can serve you, or anyone you care about, in the same way.
My hope, dream, and prayer is that each person that reads this book can increase his or her success emotionally, socially, and financially. I certainly believe this is possible, and I look forward to hearing about your success. Please feel free to contact me at email@example.com.
